Rum Runners is owned and operated out of Bar Harbor, Maine, a premier destination for vacations and weddings. Rum Runners will travel to any location in Maine. Travel is included in all Service Packages.

Yes, we have a Maine State Liquor License and will provide the alcohol for your event if it is within the state of Maine. Rum Runners is insured with liquor liability and general liability insurance to cover our services. With this we can host Open Bar, Cash Bars and Split Service options. All bartenders are TIPS certified and hold years of experience in this industry. If you have any questions on your venue’s restrictions, we would love to reach out to them and send them copies of our license/insurance to ensure they have all requirements from us to service your event.

Yes! While we prefer to serve from our custom-built mobile bar we do provide services for indoor events. Rum Runners is happy to serve you all year round. Maine has long, cold winters, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have reasons to celebrate! Serving from our unique mobile bar is our specialty but Rum Runners loves to serve from built-in-bars at venues all across the state, for all types of events.

We require a nonrefundable payment and signed contract to secure service for your event. Payment Plans are customizable for each party. We require a credit card on file before the start of your event pending your chosen package.

Let’s be honest, Maine has some unpredictable weather! Unfortunately, due to our advanced booking model, we cannot accommodate cancellations due to rain or weather. In the event of bad weather, it is the responsibility of the host to provide an indoor space. We are happy to work with your venue to find a place indoors for us, using a built in bar, or working with your tent vendor to find the appropriate size tent for our mobile bar. Or if this is a personal party, we can just come on in!

Every event is different, so shouldn’t the menu be as well? Rum Runners thinks so! Adam has a catalog of hundreds of custom cocktails and mocktails, many of which are Award Winning in Maine. We will customize a menu tailored to your event. our father likes Laphroaig? Then we will have Laphroaig! Your Mother-In-Law likes Pina Cooladas? Say no more, we will name it after her! Event Specialized Drinks are featured cocktails to exemplify the theme or person of the night.

We offer disposable tossware as an allternative to glassware. Although we do not carry glassware in our inventory, you can rent this through a third party. We do have recommendations and suggestions on how much to order and of what sizes. We do need to know when glassware is provided as our bar has limited storage space.

Of course! We understand everybody has their own visions for their parties! If you have decor purchased to make the bar area match an aesthetic we can help bring your vision to life. Set up and Break down are included in the price but for an additional fee, extra time can be allotted.
Any decorations added by the client must be placed décor (no hanging) or anything that would permanently alter the vehicle.

Yes. Rum Runners Mobile Bar is equipped with 4 draft beer lines and will keep them icy cold for the duration of your party. Draft beer is included for every event except indoor functions.
